Digital Media and Communications

Yomi Omogbeja is the Media and Communications Director for the Commodore Grand Prix.

He is a professional in digital marketing, sports sponsorship, and communications, with academic degrees from Barça Universitas (Barça Innovation Hub) in Barcelona, Spain; Deutsche Sporthochschule Köln, Germany; and the University of Sheffield, UK.

He has more than 25 years of experience as a sports journalist, providing comprehensive coverage of CAF and FIFA football tournaments, multiple World Athletics series events, and the Olympic Games since 1999.

He has also facilitated digital transformation workshops, implemented new media solutions, and provided strategic communications consulting to executive leadership teams, athletes, coaches, and team administrators for various NOCs and member federations in Africa.
