Cookie Policy

1. About this Cookie Policy

This Cookie Policy explains how Commodore Sports Agency Ltd uses cookies and similar technologies on Commodoresports.org and/or CommodoreGrandPrix.com. It should be read together with our Privacy Notice.

2. What are cookies and similar technologies?

Cookies are small text files placed on a device when a website is visited. Similar technologies include pixels, tags, local storage, embedded content, software development tools and event-reporting scripts that recognise a device, remember a preference, deliver a feature or record how a website is used.

3. Categories of technologies we use

3.1 Strictly necessary technologies

These technologies are required to deliver the Website, maintain security, route forms, remember privacy choices or provide a feature expressly requested by you. They cannot ordinarily be disabled through our preference tool, although your browser may allow you to block them. Blocking them may affect Website functionality.

3.2 Analytics technologies

With your consent where required, we may use analytics or event-reporting tools to understand page visits, interaction events, referral sources, device/browser information and Website performance. The Website currently loads Matomo and Google analytics and event-reporting scripts.

3.3 Functional and external-media technologies

These technologies provide enhanced functions or external content. The Contact page currently contains an embedded form to a third party vendor to receive your messages, and the Website loads Google Fonts and style/icon resources hosted locally. Loading those resources may send IP address, browser/device details, requested-resource information and interaction data to the relevant provider, even where the provider does not place a traditional cookie.

5. Cookie names and duration

Cookie and event identifiers may change when a provider updates its service. The Website's cookie-preference panel should display the current identifiers, provider, purpose and lifespan identified through the most recent technical scan. Session technologies expire when the browser session ends; persistent technologies remain for the period stated in the preference panel or until deleted.

6. Your choices

When you first visit the Website, you should be able to:

  • accept all optional technologies;
  • reject non-essential technologies; or
  • manage preferences by category.

You may change or withdraw your choice at any time through the Cookie Settings link on the Website. Withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal.

7. Browser controls

Most browsers allow you to block, delete or receive warnings about cookies. Browser settings vary, and blocking all cookies may prevent parts of the Website from working. Browser controls may not block every form of similar technology, so the Website preference tool should also be used where available.

8. Third-party controls

Third-party services may offer their own privacy or opt-out controls. Their practices are governed by their own policies, and Commodore Sports Agency Ltd does not control those settings. Details of the relevant providers are set out in our Privacy Notice.
